We are invited to recognize and appreciate our breath. It is given so, life might be life, for us to be us. It is not ours to control or withhold else, we will feel like dying. When we hold it, we feel pain. So, the invitation of life is, “You can breathe.” Similarly, we feel pain when we withhold our sincerity and truth. We can let it out and acknowledge what’s there. We can be honest with ourselves and ignore all superficial spiritual rules.

We can confess our hearts to life. We can drop to our knees and surrender everything and just breathe. If life is asking anything it is for us to breathe, to be ourselves. It does not a demand but rather, invites us to the space for breathing and to be what we are.
